Kori

I had the privilege of spending the day with my friend Kori. We were lazy around the pool and then went and had dinner together. Our lives are both so busy, that it is always a special treat to spend time together.

We have seen each other through a lot and have been each others support. Through the good and the bad. She can make me laugh at the hardest hour. She knows what to say to make me think. She believes in me. She knows me.

It is an honor to call Kori my friend. She is strong and has often times reminded me of my strength. She pushes me when I resist and don't want to be pushed. She does this all with love and my best interest.

It was a good day. Makes me appreciate friendship and how that is truly one of the most important things in this life!

Fourth of July

This year my 4th of July was pretty laid back yet it was nice all the same. I spent the day with my Mom and Dad in North Liberty. Mom of course went crazy preparing food which is ALWAYS delicious! It's in her blood to be a little hostess and it's awesome to see. After the day there, I went to Eagle Lake and watched fireworks. It was a great day!

Outsmarted!

Ah yes! I have done it! I have outsmarted a feline! Cleveland the Cat has had a bad habit of dumping over his water bowl every time he went to grab a bite to eat. He would stand in front of it and paw his foot backwards as if he was trying to bury something. However, he never buried anything, just made me REALLY angry. He would dump his water then look at me as if to say "What?" Then if he did something else around the house that was naughty I would yell at him and he would go STRAIGHT to his bowl and dump it out of spite I think. Sooooo as you can see from the picture he is not impressed with his new CAST IRON bowl. It is undumpable!!! Oh yeaaaaaaa!!!! I am victorious!!!!
