SO I made a purchase yesterday. This purchase is alive and hopefully will not be regretted! It is my new guinea pig that I got for my classroom. I was all prepared to get a hamster which is small and what I thought "cute". One of my fellow teachers has one in her room, and he was soft, furry, and super sweet. So when I went to the pet store, they had these big ole things sticking out of their bootays! NOT at all cuddly! It was a great thing Jeremy was with me, or I would not have seen it. At the next pet store Jeremy asked why "his butt looked like that?" The salesperson replied, "Um...that is not his butt." So we will leave that one open for interpretation!
Anyway, the new little guy makes the trip into my class tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes!

I'm pretty sure since I was the toy advocate for this new furry friend...his name should be Corey...nic and strong. It will take him far in life.
